After announcing the unification of the hole + pill for the notch of the iPhone 14 Pro, the MacRumors reader who would have internal sources at Apple reveals images of the iOS 16 lock screen with Always-On mode Pro models.
A mode only available on the iPhone 14 Pro!
We have already mentioned the new lock screen on iOS 16 as well as the new Always-On mode (screen always on) of the iPhone 14 Pro but now here is what the mixture of the two should look like.
Still according to the same source from our colleagues at MacRumors, who has just unveiled the unique design of the notch of the Pro models, the lock screen will fully adapt to this mode. Rather than having a simple black screen showing the time and widgets slightly, the wallpaper as well as the new depth effect should also be visible.
To display widgets in Always-On mode, Apple would have found a technique so as not to damage the OLED screen, without affecting the user experience.

We also learn that notifications will be part of this Always-On mode. They would appear on the bottom of your screen, just like on the classic lock screen. This could be handy for reading a notification without needing to turn on your iPhone screen. The new notification counter can also be activated.
The author of this information warns about bugs that may be present at startup. An update 16.0.1 or 16.1 should quickly be deployed by Apple to rectify the situation.
There is no longer a long wait to find out if all this information is true. On Wednesday September 7, 2022, Apple will announce the iPhone 14 range via its Keynote titled “Far Out”.
Are you going to buy a new iPhone this year, if so, which one?
