Samsung is just one of the many manufacturers that have yet to reveal the new generation of their high-end terminals. If everything goes as in previous years, the South Korean company will present the Samsung Galaxy S23 during the first months of next year. But, as usual, leaks are the order of the day in the mobile phone market, and today’s victim was the aforementioned smartphone.
@OnLeaks, the popular leaker of mobile devices, in conjunction with Digithave shared what could be the First glance to the Samsung Galaxy S23. And I say “could” because published renders are based on leaked diagrams which the source has been able to access. However, leaks from the aka Steve H. McFly are usually very close to the final product.
What’s new? Naked eye, the changes are minimal. The Samsung Galaxy S23 would retain its rounded edges and the panel continues to highlight a hole to make room for the front camera. It is at the back where we can see a slight “novelty” in the design.
Unlike previous generation models, the Samsung Galaxy S23 does not have an island protruding from the top corner. Instead, camera sensors are placed directly on the rear surface. The arrangement with three vertical targets maintains a more uniform design.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 will be very similar to the Galaxy S22
The leak it also offers the actual dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy S23, as well as a 360-degree view thanks to the renders. The body of the smartphone will measure 146.3 mm x 70.8 mm x 7.6 mm and It will have a 6.1-inch screen.. The rest of the specifications are unknown, although it is rumored that it will integrate a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a longer battery life.
Another leak ensures that Samsung will mount a 200 MP camera with a sensor of 1/1.3 inches and 0.6 µm pixels. Although this is not confirmed, it is said that would be exclusive to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is also mentioned that the next Samsung terminal will offer similar RAM and storage configurations to the Galaxy S22 (8 GB / 128 GB).
There are still several months to learn more about the Galaxy S23, although one of its main features has been leaked. Unlike other manufacturers who are already planning a version of the Dynamic Island, Samsung keeps the usual perforation in the screen. We do not know if future models will maintain that design or will rise to the fashion imposed by Apple.
If everything goes well, the Samsung Galaxy S23 would be presented in the first Unpacked of 2023. The base version is rumored to cost $799, while the S23 Plus will fetch $999 and the S23 Ultra $1,199.
