mobile news desk Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy A0 smartphone, which is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A03. After this the brand launched the Galaxy A04s in India. Now, another device in the lineup called the Galaxy A04e has been listed on the NBTC and Indonesia Telecom certification database, revealing some details about the smartphone. The Galaxy A04 is listed on the NBTC website as SM-A042FS/DS. The name of the phone Galaxy A04e has also been confirmed by the listing. The DS represents dual SIM capabilities in model numbers, which will vary by region, as was seen with previous Galaxy smartphones. According to the NBTC website, the device will support GSM, WCDMA and LTE. There will be no 5G support as it is a low cost device.
Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy A04e has been listed on the Indonesia Telecom website with the model number SM-A042F. There is a slight difference in the model number, however, the Indonesia Telecom website confirms that it is indeed the Galaxy A04e. Apart from this information, other specifications of the smartphone have not been disclosed. Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy A04e was spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-A042F, however, it was believed to be the Galaxy A04 Core. Now that it is clear that this is not the case, we can expect the Galaxy A04e to come with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC with PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU. It will have at least 3GB of RAM and will boot Android 12 out-of-the-box.
