And the list of counts seems endless. After Apple told us which are the best apps in the App Store and Google did the same with Google Play, YouTube told us which were those videos that blew our minds (and ended our data) this 2022. Following the trend, we now know what was the most listened to on Spotify during this year that is about to end.

After officially launching the 2022 edition of Spotify Wrapped, the streaming service revealed the most listened to artists, songs, albums and podcasts in the world during 2022.

Spotify Wrapped 2022 is already here with a function inherited from the Youtube Music Recap?

The truth is that now we have listings focused on the Mexican market, which demonstrate the importance of the country for the growth of artists on the popular platform.

In fact, from Spotify they indicate that Mexico is one of the most prominent in the consumption of international music within their service. Of the total streams consumed in the country, 60 percent correspond to international artists, while the remaining 40 percent correspond to national creators.

This is not everything. Mexico is among the top 10 countries that export music through Spotify, as well as being one of the markets that interacts the most with the already popular and traditional personalized annual summary of the platform.

In the midst of these data, it is interesting to recognize which were the most listened to artists, songs, podcasts and genres in Mexico within Spotify during these twelve months.
