This week, the new classic in the “ACA NeoGeo” series from SNK and Hamster is the legendary fighting game Samurai Shodown, which lands on iOS and Android. The one who calls himself Samurai Spirit in Japan returns almost 30 years later with some modern conveniences.
SAMURAI SHODOWN arrives thanks to ACA NEOGEO
Samurai Shodown debuted in 1993 and featured 12 fighters competing to take on boss Shiro Tokisada Amakusa at the end. The game features a rage gauge that fills up as you take damage. Once full, this gauge increases the damage caused by all your attacks, a way to restart a seemingly lost fight. If you haven’t tried one of the games in this series yet, you should know that Hamster’s “ACA NeoGeo” saga offers many modern conveniences compared to consoles such as automatic saving in the cloud or support for gamepads. Better, each port on iOS and Android is sold at half the price of the console versions.
Check out Samurai Shodown ACA NeoGeo on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android. We have already presented a dozen ACA NeoGeo games such as Alpha Mission II, Metal Slug 5, Shock Troopers, PUZZLED or The King of Fighters 2002.
