You absolutely want an Apple-branded smartphone, but you don’t want to put an astronomical sum in it? Then you did well to wait for the French Days, since the iPhone 11 is available from only 479 euros at Cdiscount, which is even cheaper than the new SE 5G.
Apple smartphones have been known to work perfectly for several years, like the iPhone 6S from 2015 which was updated to iOS 15, and the iPhone 8 from 2017 which recently received the new version of Apple’s interface, the aptly named iOS 16. As you will have understood, the iPhone 11 released in 2019 still has a bright future ahead of it. And today, you can get the latter at a very attractive price thanks to the promotions of the French Days.
The advantages of the iPhone 11
- No OLED, but a very good quality LCD screen
- The still high power of the A13 Bionic chip
- Its compatibility with wireless charging
Instead of the usual 589 euros, the iPhone 11 with 64 GB of storage is now available on sale at only 479 euros on Cdiscount, for members of the Cdiscount à Volont program who use the promo code “ APPLE30CDAV“. Others can buy it for 509 euros.

A smartphone made to last
The iPhone 11 replaced the XR in 2019. It kept the same design overall, but with some welcome new colors on the back. On the front, we find the same 6.1-inch Liquid Retina screen (however brighter than on the previous model) and the same notch size, integrating a new version of Face ID. It is also waterproof up to 2 meters deep, against only 1 meter for the XR.
It has made some improvements, starting with its meteoric rise in power thanks to the A13 Bionic chip. Even today, it is a configuration that offers high performance, in any case enough to meet all needs, whether it is the use of applications or mobile games. As far as the user experience is concerned, it is perfectly smooth, even with the new iOS 16 update. Moreover, it will continue to receive the next versions of the interface from Apple for several more years.
A technical sheet still very acceptable in 2022
For the rest of the characteristics, it is still quite honorable today. With the photo, there is a dual 12-megapixel photo sensor, which also incorporates a rather convincing ultra-wide-angle lens to capture beautiful shots. It does not reach the versatility of the old and new Pro models often equipped with three sensors on the back, but there is already a gap sufficient compared to the single sensor of the XR.
For autonomy, it’s a bit from that moment that Apple began to make efforts. Indeed, compared to the old generation, this has been revised upwards thanks to numerous software improvements. According to the manufacturer, the iPhone 11 is therefore able to last an hour longer than the XR, with almost the same battery capacity, i.e. more than a whole day. Moreover, it is compatible with wireless charging.
