Apple changes one of the essential indicators on the iPhone screen!
The design of the battery indicator proposed in the beta versions of iOS 16 generated mixed opinions. In response to the first images that showed the change, some followers of the firm proposed and continue to propose their own versions. And apparently Apple will offer several options depending on the device model. Thus, and according to a new report, the iPhone 14 Pro could use the classic battery indicator instead of the new one.
Again, responsible for this change is the notch. With the launch of the iPhone X and the debut of the notch, Apple removed the battery indicator to accommodate the status bar icons in the small space left on the sides of the cutout. Now and before the rumor that ensures that this component will have a modification in the iPhone 14, Apple has had to maintain its classic icon.
This is what the battery icon would look like on the iPhone 14 Pro
To join the list of proposals, an anonymous user shared through MacRumors his own iPhone 14 Pro concept with iOS 16 and the classic battery indicator in the status bar. Furthermore, it did the same with the iPhone 14 debuting the new Always-on Display technology, as we share in the images below.
thanks to this change Apple places the carrier signal bar on the left while changing the location and full battery information on the right (icon + percentage). With this modification, it would be the first time since the iPhone 8, apart from the SE series, that Apple takes advantage of this classic design.
The latest information also ensures that along with the classic battery indicator, Apple will rearrange other elements of the iOS status bar on the lock screen and notification center, including moving the cellular signal indicator to the left.
