How to Check Battery Charging Cycles on iPhone 15
Until now, to see the iPhone’s charging cycles you had to go to Settings > Privacy and accessing terminal usage analysis data. But in this section only the load cycle files could be found. In addition, the process to know the charging cycles of the iPhone was somewhat confusing and cumbersome.
From now on, with all iPhone 15 models, Apple will include a battery charge cycle counter in Settings > General > Information. That easy.

What is a battery charge cycle?
Each iPhone model has a battery that has a specific number of charging cycles that defines its useful life and determines its condition.
According to Apple, An iPhone has an average of 500 battery charge cycles. But these cycles do not correspond to how many times you charge your iPhone, rather each cycle constitutes a charge from 0% to 100%, even if it is divided into several occasions.
“An Apple lithium-ion battery works with charge cycles. You complete a charge cycle when you have used (discharged) an amount that is equal to 100% of your battery’s capacity.”
This is the reason why the iPhone battery gradually degrades, losing performance and efficiency until its useful life ends.
You can know the health of your iPhone battery from Settings > Batterywithin the “Battery health and charging” section.
Other news about the iPhone 15 battery
Apple launched its new iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models during its last September keynote. At the event, the company confirmed that the battery capacity of its new terminals had not increased compared to the iPhone 14 generation.
The battery of the iPhone 15 line offers a range of up to 23 hours of video playback. An identical battery life to the iPhone 14. However, in theory, the new A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro models should offer greater energy efficiency during its performance and resource management.
What do you think about this small detail of the iPhone 15? Do you regularly check the health of your iPhone’s battery?
