Everything seems to indicate that the fourth generation special edition will have the same design as the iPhone XR model.
We are facing one of the most interesting news of the week, everything seems to indicate that Apple is already starting the design process of its future generation of iPhone SE. And its design will share certain similarities with the iPhone XR model.
The latest leak coming from Jon Prosser, the popular YouTuber, indicates that the iPhone SE 4 will have the same case or “body” as the 2018 iPhone XR which was introduced alongside the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
While the latest iPhone SE model has an iPhone 8-inspired design with the classic home button and slightly wider frame bezels than past iPhone generations.
This will be the design of Apple’s next iPhone SE
After the launch of the third generation iPhone SE, everything indicated that the future fourth generation iPhone SE would have a design inspired by the iPhone mini. Finally it seems that it will not be so and will have the same case as the iPhone XR. A very good news that indicates that we will finally leave behind the classic and traditional design of the iPhone. Will this be the final goodbye to the Home button?
During a podcast with Andru Edwards and Jon Rettinger (via Apple Trackr) Jon Prosser assured that the next generation of iPhone SE will leave aside the design of the iPhone 8 in favor of a more modern design like that of the iPhone XR.

Ultimately, the fourth-generation iPhone SE will have a much bigger screen, improved cameras and facial recognition, in addition to a design much more adapted to the time. What we still have to discover is if the iPhone SE 4 will have a screen OLED or a screen LCD. Both the iPhone XR and the iPhone SE 3 have an LCD screen that considerably lowers their cost in the market.
On the other hand, the latest iPhone SE has the same processor as an iPhone 13, an Apple A15 Bionic. A very interesting fact that could imply that the new generation of Apple’s special edition will also have the same processor as the iPhone 14 line, which, by the way, will be presented imminently at the next September presentation event at Apple Park.
