The OnePlus 10 Pro, the latest high-end flagship from the Chinese brand, is entitled to a new update. In a post published on its forum, OnePlus announces the deployment of a new firmware version of OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12: OxygenOS 12 A.13.
The changelog posted by OnePlus details a series of improvements and fixes. The company claims to have corrected “an occasional problem” which causes the phone not to turn on automatically at the time set by the user. The brand also announces that it has improved network stability and the system in general.

Update also improves OnePlus 10 Pro selfies
Above all, the update promises to optimize the algorithms that allow the fingerprint reader under the screen to recognize the user’s fingerprint. Once the update is installed, it can be expected that the biometric sensor is faster and more efficient. OnePlus is aiming for an increase in “fingerprint unlock success rate”. During our test, we had already been charmed by the reader’s performance.
OnePlus also ensures that the update optimizes “energy consumption in certain scenarios” while preserving the user experience. We can therefore hope that the firmware improves the battery life, which is already excellent and far exceeds the day of use. The changelog also mentions a improved audio processing intended to improve communications and improved selfies recorded with the front sensor.
The update contains the Android security patch of March 2022. Unfortunately, the firmware does not add the April 2022 patch, which was rolled out by Google earlier this month. Note that the update is currently being pushed to India and North America. However, the firmware should soon arrive in Europe, although OnePlus mentions a deployment in “some time”. We explain how to install the update as soon as it is available:
- meet in the Mview parameters from your smartphone
- choose Software update
- then click on Check for an update
- If it is available, all you have to do is press “Start update” and follow the on-screen instructions
