The production of iPhone 14 Max would be a little behind compared to the other three models planned by Apple. Thus, it could be subject to some supply problems at launch, but the Apple firm should quickly correct the problem.
The iPhone 14s are getting ready. There is even talk of an announcement as early as September 7, earlier in the calendar than in previous years. Thus, the four models of the new series should be marketed approximately one week after the event. Apple has therefore obviously started production of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
For three of them, there should be no availability concerns. However, for the iPhone 14 Max, there are some doubts. This model has no equivalent on the range of last year and would therefore be a new proposal in the catalog of Apple. However, according to Ross Young, specialist in the screen industry market and boss of the firm Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), the production of this model is lagging behind.
Quoted by MacRumors, the expert explains to his paying subscribers that the iPhone 14 Pro Max takes over the majority of panel production between June and September with 28% of deliveries. The iPhone 14 and 14 Pro are not far behind with 26% each. On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Max is only entitled to 19%. Same story for the manufacture of smartphones themselves: iPhone 14 Pro Max copies represent 29% of production compared to 21% for the iPhone 14 Max.
Hope for the iPhone 14 Max
All is not lost for the iPhone 14 Max. According to Ross Young, the iPhone 14 Max will “make up a lot of ground in September“. Thus, if it is possible that Apple encounters supply problems at launch, the company should succeed in correcting the situation in a fairly short time.
Pro Max is highest. Max is lowest, but is gaining alot of ground in September.

Historically, Apple has always recorded very large sales figures in the fourth quarter of each calendar year. The firm renews its iPhone shortly before and can then greatly count on the holiday seasons which are very conducive to purchases. There is therefore no doubt that the apple will go into overdrive if necessary to avoid being affected by concerns in the supply chain.
Note that the iPhone 14 Max is expected to have a diagonal of 6.7 inches and will replace the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini. The manufacture of this model would have been partly slowed down by confinements and various concerns on the production lines. Finally, remember that Apple should especially encourage you to fall for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. These are the variants that would reserve the most novelties.
