We have known for several months now what the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will look like thanks to leaker OnLeaks, who unveiled the first renderings of the smartphone. The latter was all black, but new renders are now coming to give us a glimpse of what the smartphone could look like with more vibrant colors.
My Drivers unveiled renders of the Pixel 7 Pro with a new blue color. The latter uses on the back a very light blue on the lower part, while the upper part sports an azure blue. For its part, the photo module which takes the form of a horizontal bar is completely white, with sensors housed in different punches.
What do we know about the Pixel 7 Pro?
As revealed by OnLeaks renders, the Pixel 7 Pro should inherit the same 6.7-inch 120 Hz LTPO display as the Pixel 6 Pro. At the rear, the photo setup should also be very similar, with a main sensor of 50 MPan ultra-wide-angle sensor and a periscope offering 5X optical zoom.
However, unlike the previous year, this time around the sensors will be positioned in individual pills. This aesthetic change will not impact the performance of the smartphone in any way, but should allow consumers to differentiate it more easily from its predecessor. Finally, we know that the Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by a new generation of Tensor chip, which should be based on the same ARM v9 architecture as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MediaTek Dimensity 9000.
While we wait for the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro to arrive around October 2022, Google is expected to unveil a new affordable smartphone on July 28. It will be the Pixel 6a, and we already know what it will look like thanks to photos stolen from the box of the device. It should be placed in the same price segment as its predecessor, i.e. less than 400 euros.
