The Pixel 7 Pro, the new high-end smartphone from the Mountain View company, should be released during the month of October, if the schedule is respected. Me Brar had unveiled yesterday some elements of the technical sheet of the star product of the brand, and completed it today. Less than three weeks from its marketing, the Pixel 7 Pro has therefore almost no more secrets for us.
It should therefore be noted that at the material level, Google has chosen continuity, even immobility. According to the sheet published on Twitter, the camera module will remain the same on the back, with a lens with a definition of 50 Mpx, a wide angle of 12 Mpx and a long focal length of 48 Mpx (which could benefit from a new sensor). The selfie camera will still have a definition of 11MP.
Both smartphone models will incorporate the Titan M2 security chip. At the hardware level, there will still be a big change, and not the least, since the leak seems to confirm that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will indeed be powered by a Google Tensor G2 chip. According to Google, the latter will offer even more useful features and further customization for photo, video, security and voice recognition.
No big change in sight for the Pixel 7 and Pixel Pro 7
The other specifications confirm what we already suspected. The 6.7-inch OLED display will have a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Pixel 7 Pro will come with 12GB RAM compared to the Pixel 7’s 8GB. Customers will have the choice of 128 or 256 GB of storage and the battery will have a capacity of 5000 mAh. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will of course run Android 13.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro should be unveiled to the public from October 6 and distributed in France from October 18. The presentation is titled “It’s all coming together” (everything falls into place), which suggests that the company will try to bring some uniformity to its range of Pixel branded products. Like the great competitor Apple, which has managed to create a real ecosystem around its gadgets. We can thus expect to see the new Pixel Watch and the new smartphones, but why not also, a demonstration of the integration of artificial intelligence in the company’s gadgets.
