We can change the address from the Cambiodomicilio.redsara.es page and we will see that the web indicates that it is a portal that allows the citizen, once the registration has been completed, “to communicate to different Administration bodies, such as the Directorate General of Traffic, Tax Agency and Social Security among others, your change of address without having to go to each of them in person. So we simply have to tap on “access the application”.
As usual in these cases, we must authenticate ourselves with some type of identification such as: DNIe/Electronic Certificate, 24h PIN Access, Cl@ve Permanente or as EU citizens.
Once we have already registered, We access the platform and we will see a drop-down where we can choose the province and the municipality in which we are going to modify the address. In addition, we will see the options we have to choose the organisms in which to change it. The organizations to communicate the change of address are:
- TGSS – General Treasury of the Social Security
- Asturias – Principality of Asturias
- INSS – National Institute of Social Security
- AEAT – State Tax Administration Agency
- DGT – General direction of traffic
- PGD – General Directorate of Police
We mark the ones that interest us and click on “Continue“where we will see our personal data with the type of document, name, surname, nationality, province… And we will see the address data where we have to fill in the information and click on “request”
Once we’ve done this, we will only have to wait the change is complete.
Check the status of the application
Once we have done so, we can check the status of the process to see if it has already been completed or not. For example, we are especially interested in knowing if the process has been done if we have any letter pending to receive and we do not want it to reach our previous address because we do not have access to the mailbox.
Here the steps are similar and we simply have to go to the Sara network website and go to the “Consult” option in the section “Check the status of your application.” Follow the corresponding steps to know how the status of the request is going. We will have to access with DNIe, electronic certificate, PIN access or cl@ve and follow the steps on the web to find out what state our change is in.
