If you have a Samsung mobile you are in the best weeks of the year. The company is being one of the first to update to Android 14 and One UI 6. And not just the most important mobile phones: a large part of Samsung’s catalog is enjoying the new software. At the moment there are several smartphones from the company that can officially updatealthough you may not know it or you may not have your device correctly configured for the notification to arrive.
Do you have one of these Samsung phones? You can now update
If you find the model of your device in the following list it means one thing: the update of Android 14 and One UI 6 It has already been officially launched. This means you can probably update, especially if you’re reading from Europe. Samsung launched a good number of OTAs last week and already has more than 13 updated smartphones.

From the day November 20 to 26 Samsung released the Android 14 update for these 13 phones. Previously, it had already updated the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra, so currently, as of November 27, there are a total of 16 smartphones that have Android 14.
Not receiving the update?
It is possible that your mobile phone is one of those chosen from the previous list and the update has not yet arrived. This is distributed in a way staggered by different regionsso it is possible that it has not yet been distributed in your country or region.
But it may also be that it is available and your mobile phone has not “requested” to receive the update. Forcing it is very simple: go to your mobile settings, search for “Updates available» and click on «Search for updates«. If the OTA is available, you will receive the notification a few minutes later to download and install the update.
You only have to worry about having sufficient storage available and the battery charged above 50%.
Does the Android 14 update erase my data?
No. You can rest assured: Your data will not be erased when you update to Android 14 and One UI 6. The software will change and you will receive the news, but your images, videos, apps and data will remain in the same place. You do not need to make a backup copy, as there are rarely problems that lead to partial data loss.

Hi,
Why android phones get only 3 OS updates in their life since announced (Samsung). I do have a pretty good one (A71) and will never get updated including this new one??
How can I update it further more?
It is such a pitty and a financial burden to get a phone up to date!!
