They steal 300 drones and 500 stabilizers from DJI (it happened in Mexico)

The DJI company announced that they stole from one of its trucks in Mexicothe thieves took more than 300 drones, 500 stabilizers and cameras of different models.

DJI Mexico reported that on May 3 one of its trucks that transported merchandise to its warehouses was stolenbut it is not yet specified where in the national territory the assault took place.

The company has already started the legal procedure with the aim of finding those responsible and recovering the equipment. He also reported that the stolen equipment has already been blocked to prevent it from being used. “At the moment we have worked hard to start with all the legal procedures and find the teams and those responsible,” the company said in a statement. DJI shared a statement on social networks “We call on our entire audience to be aware of unofficial sales of DJI equipment and give notice to the authorities, since these teams are blocked,” the company specified.

DJI confirmed that more than 300 drones, approximately 500 gimbals and cameras of different models were stolen. DJI drones are priced between 7,999 pesos up to 26,699 pesos, while the prices of the camera and stabilizer reach up to 169,599 pesos.

DJI has eight stores in Mexico. But several of the stolen DJI Mexico models are listed as out of stock on its page, but the company said it will work to get orders to its customers as quickly as possible.
