This is how the guarantee and its prices change

AppleCare+ plans arrived in Spain at the beginning of 2019, improving the original AppleCare guarantees and adding coverage for accidental breakage of the device that is covered. There is some money paid with each repair, but it’s a lot less than if we didn’t have that warranty. At some level, it pays off.

Now AppleCare+ goes one step further in Spain and add coverage against theft and loss, something that unfortunately is not unusual to see in the country. That coverage can be purchased optionally, and adds a minimum of two incidents of theft or loss each year covered by the insurer AIG.

Buy a new iPhone or pay only 129 euros if you lose it

Replacing the lost or stolen device in these cases will have a cost, which in the case of iPhones is €129. Much better than having to buy a new iPhone, of course. The only thing we will have to do to enjoy that price is (apart from contracting AppleCare +) have the Search function activated to be able to delete all the data in it. For all this we will receive the assistance of Apple.

With this, AppleCare+ loss or theft coverage is officially active in the United States, Australia, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain. The price of the AppleCare+ plan with all these new options varies depending on the device model you have: in the case of iPhones, it can be a single payment of 289 euros or 25.49 14.49 euros per month in the case of an iPhone 13 Pro Max, with the minimum plan for the iPhone SE for 149 euros per year or 7.49 euros per month.
