If all Movistar rates were going to rise from January 2023, the operator’s Second Residence Internet rate was not going to be less. And it is that, we will also know what the price changes will be for this offer from the company. Of course, it must be clear that the teleco will raise its rates being at all times lower than CPI percentage.
As we have already warned you, the general average increase will be 6.8% in all convergent rates. Although, we still had to see what would be the exact increase that the blue operator would apply to the Internet rate in second homes. Well, we already know how much it will cost us to hire this service from January 2023.

New Internet price Second Residence

Although it is not the first time that we have seen the price of Internet installation in Movistar second homes rise in price, now it has attracted more attention since the entire catalog of the blue operator is renewed with new prices. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account right now what will be the rise in the price of this specific service of the Spanish teleco. This is how the Second Residence Internet rate with Fusion Total Plus, Fusion Total Plus 4 lines, Movistar Unlimited and Movistar UnlimitedX2:

  • Internet Second Residence (only for miMovistar or Fusion customers): it will cost 16 euros as of January 13, 2023. Before that date, it will be priced at 15 euros per month. The available speeds are 10 Mb in Fiber access and up to 20 Mb in ADSL and Radio access.
  • Internet Second Residence Plus (only for miMovistar or Fusion customers): you will have a price of 22.99 euros from January 13. Before that date we can contract it for 21.99 euros per month. This rate offers fiber with 300 symmetric Mbps.

However, the client, who must prove that the address of that second residence belongs to him, the truth is that he must also take into account the following monthly installments depending on the product have from January 13in addition to the two previous options:

Internet Second Residence

  • Total Fusion: it will cost 21 eurosbefore the fixed date its price is 20 euros per month.
  • Rest of compatible Fusion products and Movistar Max: it will cost 31 euro per month, before January 13 arrives, is priced at 30 euros.

Internet Second Residence Plus

  • Full Fusion: €27.99although until January 13, 2023 it is priced at 26.99 euros.
  • Other compatible Fusion and Movistar Max products: €37.99currently having a price of 36.99 euros per month.

Therefore, after seeing the new conditions of this Movistar service to have Internet in a second residence with them, we see how its price will rise 1 euro in each of these products. In addition, it is established that the registration fee is 50 euros. Although, as we have been seeing in recent months, for now, the blue operator maintains that it is free. Lastly, we have to mention that Movistar’s Internet Segunda Residencia product has no commitment to permanence.
