A WhatsApp update has broken one of the functions most used by many people, the one that allows them to send videos to their family and friends. In the last few hours we have met several people who suddenly They complain that they can’t send videos to their friends. They don’t know what’s wrong or how to fix it.
It is a recent error that has appeared in the app after an update on Android phones, so it is to be expected that the network will quickly fill up with complaints, with users who have just found that they cannot send videos from the app and do not know what is happening. For now, there are several who have encountered the unpleasant surprise, and sending another video is not the solution. However, there is already an official one and you will find out later which one it is.

We don’t know If this error is occurring on all Android phones with this update and if it is only in the beta phase, since we have little data on the people who are experiencing this problem at the moment to see how widespread it is. The first to recognize it was using a beta of the app and this could be the reason, but we don’t know much about the others. We recommend that you try sending a video to see if it works for you.
Surely if you encounter this error you will worry because you don’t know what to do, what happened and nothing seems to work. Neither reinstalling the app, restarting your phone, nor sending a different video has worked for you so far. It is a mistake that affects videos recorded on Android phones, or received in these, so if you try to send MOV content you will have no problem. At the moment, it seems that the problem with shipments only affects videos, and not images, documents, audio or anything other than video content.
The solution has arrived finally with a new update of WhatsApp, which did not take long to fix. Until now the temporary solution was to return to version 2.23.8.85, in which this problem did not occur. This could only be done from external sources such as APK Mirror, something we do not usually recommend. However, we recently learned that the solution is already in the Google application store under version 2.24.10.3. If you encounter this problem on your mobile or have just realized it, simply update the app and it should be fixed.
