TP-Link has announced the launch of the new extender network TP-Link RE500Xa device in the form of a compact mini tower that is capable of offering connection speeds of up to 1500 Mbps in the dual band of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and that is compatible with the WiFi 6 standard.
The TP-Link RE500X is a compact device with measurements of 78×36×149 millimeters hides inside the antennas that allows you to expand the Wi-Fi network from home to those points where the signal does not reach. It also integrates a Gigabit port to get the connection via cable.
Wired or Wi-Fi
The TP-Link RE500X It reaches, depending on the brand, speeds of up to 1500 Mbpsreaching 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and 1,200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band. It is a device compatible with the WiFi 6 standard, which favors faster speeds, greater capacity and less network congestion.
Among the technologies it offers are OFDMA and Beamforming, for greater efficiency in data transmission. These are complemented by TP-Link’s OneMesh technology that allows you to create a Mesh network by connecting to a compatible router.
In the case of requiring a cable connection, the TP-Link RE500X integrates a gigabit Ethernet port to provide cable connections in compatible devices such as televisions, computers, game consoles…
In addition, the Access Point Mode allows turn your wired internet connection into a wireless hotspot dual-band MU-MIMO 2×2 by simply connecting an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port.
Setup is done through the Tether app, and in it you can establish from the intensity level of the signal the place to which it is intended. Through an iOS or Android mobile, you can configure and manage Wi-Fi, including TP-Link routers and network extenders.

The TP-Link RE500X is available in Spain on Amazon at a promotional price during this week of 64.99 euros. After the promotion the price will be 79.90 euros.
