This improves the sound quality of Spotify on PC
The first thing you need to do is go to the options (click on your user icon on the top right and select Options), and in the window that appears you will see several options that you can touch (we have marked them with a red arrow in the screenshot below).
On the other hand, make sure that the “Automatically adjust quality” option is disabled, since if the application detects that you have connection problems or that there is not much bandwidth available, it will lower the sound quality. This can be a problem in some cases, but it generally prevents you from lowering the audio quality when you are downloading files elsewhere, for example.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the “Normalize volume” option is activated (underneath you can select low, normal or high, that is as you want). This does not improve the quality in the literal sense of the word, but it does help all the songs sound at the same level, which will give you a sense of homogeneity that will make you perceive that the music sounds better.
Finally, scroll to the bottom and you will see the option «Enable hardware acceleration«, another option that it is recommended to enable, in this case to improve performance rather than quality.
Use the equalizer in Spotify
Spotify also incorporates an equalizer in its desktop version, and by default it is configured in flat mode. If you have some knowledge of audio, here you can touch the slider bars to adjust the music to your preferences, but you also have some pre-created options that will allow you to adjust the audio to the type of music you are listening to, and this will greatly improve the quality that you perceive. .
Even if you have no knowledge (although the list of presets is quite extensive), you can “play” with the values until you find the tones that you like without fear, since you even have a Reset button that will allow you to leave it again for flaw.
