Elon Musk has recently announced the rebranding.
Since his proclamation as CEO of the social network, Elon Musk has introduced many changes and restrictions on Twitter, including the debut of the controversial Twitter Blue functionality. But the business mogul’s latest decision far outweighs anything else. Twitter will no longer be Twitter and will be renamed ‘X’.
During the last night of July 23 Elon Musk announced the change of the Twitter logo and name to ‘X’ through a series of tweets on the social network. In them, the businessman assured that “we would soon say goodbye to the Twitter brand” and indicated that if the design team presented a good enough new logo, the changes would be implemented today.
And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds

“And soon we will have to say goodbye to the Twitter brand and, gradually, to all the birds.”
Goodbye Twitter: it has been renamed to ‘X’
Twitter will gradually become ‘X’, the CEO of the social network will not only change the name of the brand, but also its logo. In fact, soon the web address www.x.com will redirect directly to the social network.

We do not know the reasons that have led Elon Musk to make this drastic decision. The announcement of him has been carried out throughout this last weekend in a series of tweets, so it is not yet known why he wanted to change the name of the brand.
Perhaps the reasons may be linked to Elon Musk’s origins as a businessman. A kind of return to his business roots. In 1999 Elon Musk introduced a bank called “X” that, shortly after, would become PayPal. That strategic move allowed the billionaire to found SpaceX and become the largest shareholder in Tesla Motors.
☑️ #TwitterX
It is already a WORLD trend because the change of the Twitter logo that Elon Musk announced yesterday is a fact

Many users of the bird’s social network (we will miss calling Twitter that) have criticized this controversial change, while others believe that it could be something positive for the future of the social network. What do you think about it?
