Users will soon be able to see how much memory each tab is using on Chrome

Technology News Desk!!! Tech giant Google is reportedly working on a new feature for Chrome. This feature will tell users how much memory each tab is using. As reported by Android Police, Chrome expert leopeva64 shared this information on Twitter.

The new feature will inform users about the specific memory usage for each open tab when they hover the cursor over it. This feature will be helpful for the users when they have opened multiple tabs as it will help them to decide which tab to close.

Last month, the tech giant released Memory and Energy Saver Mode for Chrome on Mac, Windows, Linux as well as Chromebooks. Chrome’s Memory Saver automatically frees memory from inactive tabs to give more resources to other pages and apps on the user’s computer and, with Energy Saver, conserves battery power by limiting background activity and visual effects . Meanwhile, it was reported that the company is working on another new feature for Chrome that will allow users to delete the last 15 minutes of browsing data on Android.
