Social Media News Desk!!! X, formerly known as Twitter, will soon get ‘timestamp tagging’ feature for videos. A screenshot posted by X designer Andrea Conway reveals that the feature will allow users to attach specific timestamps to the description of posts, allowing viewers to easily navigate to precise moments within videos. Conway didn’t specify when the feature would roll out publicly, or whether it would be limited to X Premium subscribers, though.
Several users expressed their views on Conway’s post. A user said, “Good! Do you know if there is any plan to show the timestamp when the video is playing (currently only shows while scrubbing on mobile),” she replied, “Yes! Some fit And I see, change ends here too.” Responding to another comment, Conway clarified that “for now, timestamps will only link to posts/answers with a single video attachment.”
On the other hand, X owner Elon Musk said on Thursday, “We’re putting a lot of effort into making the X Pro a power user device.” Furthermore, when a user pointed out that the platform was working on a feature that would allow users to check whether or not they were shadow banned and give them the reason, Musk replied: “That’s a priority.” ” “Immersive video on X is starting to get good. Just swipe up for the next video,” he posted on Wednesday.
