The smart watch market has seen a considerable increase in recent years. It is no longer just an accessory for adults and athletes, but also has a more children’s audience. Xiaomi knows this and is back with its new smartwatch for children with educational functions and parental control.
Xiaomi has presented an interesting watch in Asia under the name MITU C7A which is positioned as an update to the Mi Rabbit 5c, and to which it adds some improvements and functionalities, with a certainly attractive price. Keep reading that we tell you all the details.

We are talking about a smart watch especially aimed at the youngest audience. Among its features it has a square TFT screen 1.4 inches and a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Its weight is quite light, barely 55 grams, so it will be very comfortable to wear. Its body is compatible with IPX8 water resistance and its strap is made of silicone. Xiaomi has also provided a suite of applications for educational and didactic purposes, which it has called XiaoAI Classemate. Within MITU’s custom firmware we also find various parental control functions. For example, it incorporates an integrated GPS that allows you to carry out a real-time position tracking and assisted by 9 positioning functions. The watch also supports voice commands to ask questions and get answers, although of course only in Chinese.
Price and release date
The MITU C7A is the new smart watch for children from Xiaomi that, for the moment, has been released exclusively in China. In the Asian country, the pre-sale has already begun and can be reserved for the next 15 days. it will be the next day 31 of this month of May when its sale officially begins and its price is announced.
For now it only considers its exit in China and we will hardly be able to see it officially in the international market, its arrival in Spain being complicated. Of course, it is possible that over the next few months it can be purchased in export stores such as AliExpress, so it will always be possible to purchase it, even if there are functions that we will not be able to use.
