WhatsApp is the most popular application of all. You have an Android or an iPhone we all have it, however, we usually leave it as it comes from the factory, without changing adjustments that, personally, I think they are very important, at least if you want to enjoy all the quality it can offer you.
That is why today we are going to see one of those that are hidden, and that, by default, comes with an option that is not at all the best, and that has barely benefits, so we will learn to change it and from the first minute you will notice the improvement, which you already warn that it is great.
Improve WhatsApp quality
Within the WhatsApp settings we have many options that we normally do not review, and we trust that the app itself leave the appropriate values, and while it works for us, why play?
Well, there is one that, personally, I believe that it is very badly tight, and it is that of the load quality of the files, that is, when you are going to send or receive a photo, it can be compressed so as not to occupy so much space, which also consumes less data for this, however, on auction unlimited.
To change this we will only have to go to Settings – Storage and Data – File load quality.
At this point we will have to change the standard quality option, which is default, for the HD quality, which as it explains, can occupy up to 6 times more, however, the other person can see the photo as it is, without compressing and losing all the detail of it, especially when it is a large group of people or is remote.
Remember that this, as we said, will have a significant load in the Data consumptionso if a large video would occupy 50 MB, it can occupy 300 MB, which although it should not be a problem, it can worry people with a small data plan, so WhatsApp, predeterminedly, has not enabled this option, something that for me is basic if you have wifi or unlimited data, since it will take a couple more seconds to be sent, but the result is not very better.
And you, are you one of those who prefer to see a worse image, but consume less data? Or, on the contrary, did you not know this adjustment and you will change it immediately? Since I made it the difference is brutal, and I don't know how I could be comfortable with such a low image resolution. Now that you know, you can try it, especially if you have a Wi -Fi network, at least so you can see the difference in quality of an HD to a standard and so you can better decide which one you are going to stay, since there is no medium ground.
