- Visual redesign: Apple Wallet premieres a new style with “Liquid Glass” transparencies. Everything looks cleaner, modern and play with the rest of iOS 26, so this app will not be less.
- Boarding Pass: Billing cards now show real -time information (door, delays, etc.) on the lock screen. They also include airport maps and allow you to follow the luggage if you use AIRTAGs. You can even share these data with other people.
- Digital Passport: In the United States you can keep your passport in Wallet to use it in TSA controls. It does not yet serve international trips, but as identification in certain airports and compatible apps. Hopefully it will reach more countries.
- Order monitoring: Wallet can automatically detect the emails of your purchases and show you orders directly in the app, although the store is not officially compatible. All thanks to Apple Intelligence, although it will depend on the transport company.
- Complete cards: Now you can see all the data of your saved cards (whole number, expiration date, CVV …), not only the last digits as before, so you will not have to access the bank’s app for it.
- Apple pay in stores: When you pay with Apple Pay in a physical store, you can choose to pay in installments or see the rewards that your card offers you just before paying. All this depending on the country and availability offered by Apple.
- Promotional notifications: Apple has added a new option to deactivate advertising notices and promotions from Wallet, in case you don’t want to receive such messages.
The truth is that there are quite a few changes for an app that we mostly use to pay, so we are happy, and although you cannot try 100% yet, we know that in a few weeks it will be complete, and it will help us much more than currently, so it is only a matter of waiting a bit.
