Apple Original Films announced the expansion of its film lineup with the romantic drama “All of You,” starring and written by Brett Goldstein, which has already been a hit on Apple TV+ (“Ted Lasso,” “Shrinking” ). The film is directed and co-written by William Bridges (“Black Mirror”). Following its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and screening at the BFI London Film Festival, “All of You” is set to make its global debut on Apple TV+ in 2025.
A romance on Apple TV+
The plot of future Apple film follows two best friends whose relationship is tested by new soulmate matching technology, leading to a twelve-year journey through marriage, parenthood, and heartbreak, all while battling the magnetic attraction that ‘they feel towards each other. The film features Goldstein alongside Imogen Poots, Steven Cree and Zawe Ashton.
Produced by MRC And Republic Pictures“All of You” is directed by Bridges with a screenplay shared with Goldstein. Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett Ryder Picture Company are the producers, with Bridges and Goldstein also serving as producers.
The film marks another Apple collaboration with Goldstein, known for co-creating and producing the “Shrinking” series, as well as his role in and writing contributions to “Ted Lasso.”
Apple has carved out a place for itself in the world of streaming since the launch of Apple TV+, notably by winning the Oscar for best film with “CODA”, for best animated short film with “The Boy, the Mole , The Fox and the Horse” and earning 10 Oscar nominations for “Killers of the Flower Moon.” Recent releases include Steve McQueen’s Academy Award-winning “Blitz” and action-packed “Wolfs” starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt, and “The Instigators” starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. Upcoming releases include “The Gorge,” a genre-bending love story starring Miles Teller, Anya Taylor-Joy and Sigourney Weaver, and “F1,” starring Brad Pitt, scheduled for theatrical release on the 25th. June 2025.
