He Apple Watch series 10 has been presented by the company in September 2024, being a model that is characterized by its design, much lighter and with a larger screen, so, although at the software level it barely brings any changes, we could be previously a version chosen by many.
Today we are going to see its main characteristics, the price it currently has (although we can always find offers over time) and the models that exist, since even though Apple did not tell us anything in the presentation, there are 2 like every year, depending on the size of your wrist or how big you prefer it.
Features of the Apple Watch Series 10
Among the most important features of this model, we have the screen design and dimensions of the product, which, as we said, would be the highlight of it, however, that is on an aesthetic level, which will depend on tastes and what we can see both in images and in person. However, if we look at the hardware and other features, we can summarize it as follows:
- Screen: Incorporates a brighter OLED panel with thinner edges, improving outdoor visibility. Available in various sizes and finishes (including aluminum and stainless steel). We will see them in the next section. It has 2,000 nits of brightness.
- Ultra Wideband (UWB) 2: This generation incorporates the second version of the UWB chip, which allows more precise location of compatible devices, facilitating functions such as “Find my iPhone.”
- Health and well-being: Maintains usual health monitoring functions such as ECG, blood oxygen monitoring, and irregular heart rate detection. It also offers aerobic capacity alerts and high or low frequency notifications. In addition, it incorporates the new apnea detection, although it is also enabled in the Series 9, so it is not an exclusive novelty for this version.
- Battery: Standard duration is 18 hours, with the option to extend to 36 hours in low power mode. Includes fast charging via a USB-C connector. It is still quite low and remains like the rest of the models.
- Water resistance: Retains water resistance up to 50 meters, allowing activities such as swimming and snorkeling, although it is not designed for deep diving or high-speed water sports.
- Connectivity: In addition to the standard versions with GPS, it offers the Cellular variant, with which we can use the watch without the need for the iPhone, all through an eSIM.
Series 10 Models
There are different versions of Apple Watch Series 10, both in terms of size and connectivity. Currently, we have 2 models, one larger and one smaller, however, they expand their screen size compared to previous years.
- Apple Watch Series 10 42mm and GPS
- Apple Watch Series 10 46mm and GPS
- Apple Watch Series 10 42mm, GPS and Cellular
- Apple Watch Series 10 46mm, GPS and Cellular
The Cellular version, as we said, will have the option of using an eSIM so as not to depend on the iPhone, and receive calls and messages without having to carry anything else, just the Apple Watch.
Apple Watch prices
As for prices, it will depend on the country and the version we choose, as well as whether some time has passed since its presentation and we can find more succulent offers, however, and to get an idea, the official prices today are the following:
- 42 mm and GPS: 449 euros
- 46 mm and GPS: 479 euros
- 42 mm, GPS and Cellular: 569 euros
- 46 mm, GPS and Cellular: 599 euros
While in other years, the difference between the GPS version and the Cellular version was 100 euros, this time it seems that we are going to 120 euros, so we will have to think very carefully if it is convenient for us to have eSIM, or only with the connection to the iPhone we It’s enough.
*There are exclusive versions and more premium materials that will cost us more, however, these would be the base prices of the models with the silicone strap included.
