At CES 2025, ESR surprised everyone by introducing the Geo Digital Pencil, an affordable alternative to the Apple Pencil for iPad users. This stylus features integration with the Find My network, allowing users to find it if it is misplaced, similar to the capabilities of the Apple Pencil Pro. Better yet, it is compatible with all current models, from the basic iPad to the iPad Pro.
An attractive accessory
Successor of Digital Pencilthe new Geo Digital Pencil from our friends at ESR can magnetically attach to the side of iPads starting with the 2018 iPad Pro model, but it doesn’t charge via this method. Only the 10th generation iPad can’t attach it magnetically, but the stylus is completely usable. Available in three colors – pink, white and black – it supports USB-C fast charging, with a full charge taking just 30 minutes, providing up to 12 hours of use.
ESR ensures a smooth and precise experience with features like palm rejection, tilt sensitivity, and a precise 1.5mm tip ideal for detailed work. There’s also a shortcut button at the bottom for more functionality, and the battery level is shared via Bluetooth for easy monitoring. The 2025 version of the stylus includes an Apple-certified Find My module for real-time location tracking and has a built-in speaker for easy retrieval.
