Reasons to buy an iPhone in August
As we said, it will be absurd if we always want to have the last one, but as every year the differences between them are not so great, but we want to spend so much, there are reasons why August can be a great month:
- Attractive discounts and offers: Some stores (including authorized distributors and operators) begin to offer discounts to liquidate stock before launching the new models. Check your phone company, as you could have these.
- Less demand and more availability: Being so close to the launch of the new iPhone, the low demand, and it is easier to find the model and color you want without so expect, so in Amazon or other websites you could have it in 24 hours in your home.
- Lower prices in previous models: Apple and other stores often reduce prices of previous models just before launching the new one, which can be an opportunity to save if, as we said, we are not interested in the last one and we only want the best in quality and price.
- You don’t need the latest, but it lasts: If you are not interested in having the latest novelty and you prefer a proven model, buy in August allows you to get a good device at a lower price, without failures, without problems, and with a useful life of a long time.
- Avoid launch saturation: When new iPhones come out, the first weeks can be chaotic: lack of stock, waiting lists, queues … It is not the first time there are people who wait up to 8 weeks for this, even paying it previously.
- Software updates are still available: Although you buy a model of the previous generation, you will continue to receive iOS updates for years, so you will continue to have support and new functions. It is clear that we cannot go for an ancient one, but with the last.
In summary, you can get practically the latest, but for a much lower price, and you will even be 1 or 2 months with the best market model, at least until the next iPhone begins to reach everyone, without having paid the sum that the new one costs.
