Finally! After a series of tests in January, Gboard, Google’s keyboard for Android devices, is rolling out undo and redo buttons, making it easier for you to type on your device.
Just like a word processor like Word, chats in messaging apps will have that feature thanks to the new option enabled by Gboard.

Users on various forums, including the specialized media outlet The Verge , have shown that it is now possible to enable these buttons, a fact that generated joy among users.
According to reports, it’s possible to add these new buttons from the Gboard keyboard itself, by clicking on the 4-box icon, where different options appear such as GIFs, stickers, floating keyboard, using the keyboard with one hand, and more.
The redo and redo buttons have been spotted on devices running version 15.0 of Gboard for Android, the mobile operating system where the feature is only available.
Google has also widely rolled out the voice typing toolbar on Android phones. This was announced in the Pixel Feature Drop in March, but it’s available on all devices, albeit without the Assistant’s voice typing.
