The MAC Mini is a very interesting computer, especially for its power and how small it is, even more so if we talk about the last M4 modelwhich measures 12 cm x 12 cm. However, it does not have a mediumand we directly support it on a table, which although it does not generate any problem, it does have certain disadvantages.
That is why, last week, I acquired a base for this, which is very economical and provides me with a series of pros that, although we do not see them, exist, and we will summarize them today in case someone is in the same situation and this product is interested.

Although it is not really necessary, it is interesting for its price, since it costs around 15 euros, and at least, for my part, I see 4 pros that we are going to see briefly, in case you had never thought of them, and finally you end up acquiring a base so.
- Does not accumulate dust: Thanks to this base, the lower part of the MAC does not accumulate dirt, which prevents it from entering the inside, and preventing us from having to clean it more frequently, being much easier to clean the support or the table directly.
- Better cooling: Like the dust does not accumulate, the cooling is much better, since we do not have the MAC on a base, and the air flow will be greater, preventing the equipment from heating, although it has already been prepared for it.
- Visible ignition button: One of the biggest criticisms of the MAC Mini M4 is the situation of the ignition and off button, since it is at the bottom, so it cannot be accessed without lifting the entire equipment. With this base we can press it without having to move anything.
- Hollow for external storage: Another of the advantages that I have seen, at least for my part, is the hole that provides us with the base, being sufficient for external storage, a simple pendrive, or a hub or leftover cables, without being ugly on the table, and always by hand in this section.
There are other support versions, such as the one that I leave here, that although I do not try, it also looks good, because except for the storage hole, the rest of the benefits are even better, and I am most like it, so it will depend on each person and the use you want to give it, but as an alternative, it is not bad.
And you, had you thought about these advantages? It is true that, as we said, they are not essential, and Apple had done something if it was needed, but it is true that, for the price, it is aesthetically better (at least to my liking) and you can turn it on and turn it off without having to lift it, although it is not a huge effort either.
