iphone se 4 iconIt’s no longer a secret: Apple will announce a new iPhone SE in the first quarter of next year. After a long period without renewal for this mid-range iPhone model, the fourth generation is imminent with a serious upgrade in features. As before each launch, Apple will try to build up a large stock to meet the strong demand for pre-orders as well as the weeks following availability.

Apple will do everything to avoid out of stock

An iPhone SE with a 6.1-inch screen equipped with OLED display technology, with a Face ID sensor and a more modern design? If this is confirmed in the official announcement coming soon, there is no doubt that the iPhone SE 4 is going to be a huge success across the world, especially in countries where wages are low. Apple is aware of this and would like to avoid stock shortages at all costs.

For this, the Cupertino company will try to build up a substantial stock as soon as possible. According to a recent revelation from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple’s partners (who supply the components and assemble the iPhone) have received information that mass production of the iPhone SE 4 will begin in December.

Even though it’s the holiday season, Apple expects the factories that will deliver the components of the iPhone SE 4 and handle assembly to be running at full capacity. With mass production beginning as early as December, Apple could potentially launch the iPhone SE 4 in the United States as well as internationally sometime in March or April.

As a reminder, when we compare with the iPhones which are released every fall, mass production begins quite late, generally at the end of June or in July. If everyone among Apple’s partners is mobilized, there is no shortage of components and there is no strike action, within 2 to 3 months, Apple can obtain more than enough stock to launch a new iPhone.
