If you’re a fan of Apple computers, you’re probably familiar with the Mac Mini, those small desktop computers that double as desktop computers and pack more power than they look, especially with the release of the M4 model in 2024.
However, there are more versions, such as the M2, launched in 2023 and which is by no means an obsolete model, but quite the opposite, since, despite not having the power of the latest one, it is a great option for most people, and even more so at this price.
Mac Mini M2, a great value option in 2025
Currently, we can find the Mac Mini M4, without offers, and officially, for 719 euros, which means that, on Amazon or other websites, it can drop to around 600, and that, obviously, forces a reduction in the sale price of previous models, reaching values like those we will see today, practically a gift.
In this case, we’re talking about an M2, which, since they don’t sell new, we have to buy reconditioned. However, its condition and warranty are the same as the original, except you may not be able to remove the factory plastics.
On Amazon, we can currently see it around 450 euros, which seems like a real bargain to us, and despite having an M2 chip, or being somewhat larger in terms of dimensions, it is still an ideal option for most users, because unless we need a processor for video editing, programming, etc., that is, professional tasks, it will not be necessary to go for something like that, and the 2023 one will be more than enough.

It’s important to remember that the price of these products, due to their condition and the fact that they are not the latest, can vary greatly, so by the time you read this ,they could be at a better or worse price. However, at around the price we’re talking about today, it will be a bargain, reducing the cost by around 250 euros compared to the M4.
It is true that, in my case, I have a Mac Mini M4, since for 719 euros, having the latest and greatest is also an ideal option that will last a few more years, however, if your budget is very tight, in terms of quality and price, as we mentioned, there will be nothing better, since having a computer like this for this cost is almost absurd.
