Many users around the world have been waiting to install the long-awaited major Windows 11 update, which was released for several months now. However, various incompatibilities and issues with certain programs and hardware components have blocked its arrival on many computers.

In fact, millions of users have been experiencing these problems over the past few months, resulting in countless headaches. Basically, this means that those who hoped to install the 24H2 update immediately after its official release have been unable to do so to date. Unsurprisingly, this poses a serious problem for many, including the company responsible for this disaster.

Windows 11 24H2 has brought with it more bugs and problems than initially expected. As a result, Microsoft has been forced to block its automatic arrival on millions of computers around the world. Basically, with all this, what we want to tell you is that Microsoft has now removed more blocks for the aforementioned update, so the download is now available to more users.

Now the company has just removed another security block implemented for the release of Windows 11 24H2. This update block was applied to systems with the game Asphalt 8 installed. In fact, we have seen similar incompatibilities with other game titles in the past. However, once the issue was resolved, Microsoft itself has lifted the block, as it has done over the past few weeks with many other incompatibilities, both software and hardware.

You can now install Windows 11 24H2 on your PC.

With this latest lifting of the block, we can confirm that virtually all users with compatible devices will now be able to install the long-awaited update. However, we must keep in mind that once the block is lifted, the Windows 11 update may take up to 48 hours to appear in Windows Update. Perhaps restarting your computer could speed up the process.

Therefore, the company claims that users affected by various crashes in the past will be able to download Windows 11 version 24H2 within hours. Simply open the operating system’s Settings app, for example, using the Win + I key combination. From there, simply go to the Windows Update section to receive the latest Windows 11 update.

It’s worth mentioning that under certain circumstances, we may need to click the Check for Updates button. This will likely trigger the arrival of the long-awaited major system update if Microsoft has been blocking it up until now due to one of the many incompatibilities. We should also keep in mind that if 24H2 still doesn’t appear on our computer, the hardware available on it may not be compatible with this specific version of the operating system, so we should consider other options.
