In the New York and New Jersey region, the nocturnal ballet of unidentified flying machines disrupts the peace of the inhabitants. These devices, described as significantly more imposing than consumer drones (like the DJI Air 3S or the DJI Neo, for example) are attracting the attention of American intelligence and security services, without any official explanation having been provided to date. The appearances also seem to have multiplied since mid-November.
A disturbing aerial presence
This will not be the first time that testimonies of this style emerge from Uncle Sam’s Country, whose culture is very strongly marked by ufology. On the other hand, this time, the stories appear more serious and report similar observations : drones of unusual dimensions, equipped with flashing lights and characteristic rotors, crisscross the night sky.
In Bedminster, one resident reports daily apparitions, even counting up to five devices simultaneously. The size of these machines, comparable to that of an automobileradically distinguishes them from commercial models. The sightings span a wide geographic area, affecting a dozen counties in New Jersey, as well as Staten Island in New York. The regularity of appearances and their increasing number necessarily increase the concern of local residents.

An institutional response at several levels
Faced with the scale of the phenomenon, mobilization is organized at the highest level of the State. The White House, through its spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, confirms the direct involvement of President Biden in monitoring the file. The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security are also coordinating their efforts on the ground to unravel the mystery.
An elected official from New Jersey; Chris Smith contacted the Pentagon, alerting in particular to a worrying incident: a dozen drones allegedly pursued a coast guard vessel. Defense Minister Lloyd Austin was personally questioned by Smith about the presence of these devices near sensitive installations.
Between disinformation and collective anxiety
Without much surprise, THE social networks catch fire and amplify the phenomenonbecoming the scene of an escalation of hypotheses. Many videos are circulating, some featuring fake images and 3D montages, and misinformation is proliferating, fueling baseless extraterrestrial theories.
The authorities try to maintain the course of rationality : the Pentagon, through its spokesperson Sabrina Singh, formally rules out the hypothesis of American military aircraft or foreign intervention. “ Our first analysis is that this is not a foreign adversary or a foreign entity” she declared. Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s allegations regarding possible Iranian involvement have been categorically refuted.
In Bergen County, reactions oscillate between concern and pragmatism. Sam Lugo, 23, an employee at a local gym, expresses his discomfort at the lack of explanation. Joseph Boutros, 21, adopts a more measured posture, worrying only about a potential armed threat. In the absence of concrete answers, the authorities are continuing their investigations, leaving for the moment pending the enigma of these nocturnal visitors.
In theory, these flying devices could be prototypes developed by companies or government agencies under secret programs. The army, despite official declarations, could very well be involved, and carry out exercises or special operations, which would then be classified for reasons of national security. If this were the case, the secrecy surrounding such programs makes any definitive statement impossible.
