Are you in front of your TV and wandering around looking for a film to watch alone, with family or friends? No need to exhaust yourself, we’ve gone through the program to find 3 cool films to enjoy to end the week in style.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (TF1, 9:10 p.m.)
According to the synopsis proposed by Disney:
Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) who, with the help of old and new mystical allies, must traverse the mind-blowing and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious adversary. Also starring Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg and Rachel McAdams, this thrilling supernatural action adventure is directed by Sam Raimi.
This film from the Marvel Extended Cinematic Universe (MCU) allows us to explore the multiverse. If certain passages have been criticized, this feature film generally holds its own. The best thing is probably to check for yourself to form your own opinion.
November (France 2, 9:10 p.m.)
This production by Cédric Jimenez offers us a dive into the heart of Anti-Terrorism during the 5 days of investigation which followed the attacks of November 13. The film has the merit of showing the work of these police officers who were able to trace the terrorists in an attempt to avoid further tragedies.
In particular, it can count on a very high caliber cast with, among others, Jean Dujardin, Anaïs Demoustier, Sandrine Kiberlain, Jérémie Renier, Lyna Khoudri, Cédric Kahn, Sofian Khammes, Sami Outalbali, Stéphane Bak, Raphaël Quenard, Sarah Afchain, Sophie Cattani, and Jérémy Lopez.
The infernal chase (Arte, 9 p.m.)
Attention nugget. This western, a great classic of the seventh art, takes us on the quest of a man who embarks on a career as a sheriff in order to avenge his murdered younger brother. He then comes into confrontation with a cruel and powerful breeder who terrorizes the entire city. The excellent John Ford directs Henry Fonda in this film which left its mark.
That’s all for this week. Note, if these three films are not to your taste, that there will be other feature films this Sunday evening on TNT, and in particular Little Nicholas’ treasure (W9, 9:10 p.m.), Kingsman: Secret Service (TF1, 11:30 p.m.), and Mercury code (6ter, 9:10 p.m.).
