When it comes to choosing the best possible quality within a setup, many people opt for a monitor that offers the best possible resolutions, but there are brands that manage to elevate audiovisual experiences thanks to the different technologies they offer, and in this case Samsung seems to have managed to surpass itself with its new Odyssey models, without leaving aside the ViewFinity S8 created for professionals.

During recent events, we’ve seen a host of new products coming soon to the market. Samsung has unveiled some of its most innovative monitor models, designed to offer the best possible display quality while bringing new technologies to users’ lives.

A monitor that changes the way you see things, the Odyssey 3D

One of the first models we should highlight when talking about the new Odyssey monitors that Samsung has presented is clearly the model with the greatest possible innovation, and the 3D in the name is not just aesthetic. The Odyssey 3D is a 27-inch display that seeks to offer spectacular gaming performance while changing the way we view various audiovisual content, since the fact that it has a 4K display with 165 Hz and a GtG response time of 1 ms is not the most impressive thing it offers.

The main reason is that it’s a model created with technology that offers the ability to watch games in 3D without the need for special glasses, thanks to advanced eye-tracking technology and a patented lens that delivers a completely natural, high-definition 3D image. Obviously, implementing 3D in games isn’t easy, so the company is working with major brands like Nexon and Neowiz (Lies of P) to bring it to their titles, while also collaborating with more developers.

It’s worth noting that this technology isn’t just for games; it also features AI video conversion that allows video content to be transformed into 3D.

The best quality and performance come with the Odyssey OLED G8

Samsung’s new features aren’t limited to the 3D model, as they’ve also decided to update some of their flagship models, such as the Odyssey G8, which comes with a 4K QD-OLED display. What does it offer compared to other models with the same resolution? Well, it’s quite easy to see the differences when you look at its specifications, as it comes in two versions: a 32-inch model and a 27-inch model, the latter of which has 166 pixels per inch.

But it doesn’t stop there, as it also features a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms GtG, offering the best performance without losing any quality thanks to its resolution, but also thanks to Quantum Dot and Glare Free technologies (which reduce reflections), and the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 standard, which offers unique contrast. It’s worth noting that it features Samsung OLED Safeguard+ protection, while also incorporating an advanced cooling system to prevent overheating, increasing its lifespan.

With the Odyssey G9, you don’t need two screens.

More and more people are choosing to use an ultra-wide monitor in their daily lives, and it’s clear that few can match what the Odyssey G9 offers, making it even more difficult now. This model seeks to focus on improving user experiences through high-quality images while also offering a unique experience. It features a QHD resolution on its 49″ dual screen, a 144 Hz refresh rate, a 1 ms GtG response time, and FreeSync Premium Pro.

It also has VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, also offering HDR10+ GAMING and other additional features such as Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture functions that allow you to view two different devices simultaneously.

A model created for professionals like this is the ViewFinity S8

Last but not least, we have a model created for professionals that seeks to offer an ergonomic design combined with extremely high display quality: a 37-inch 4K monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio. According to the company, the screen is 34% larger than the previous model and implements HDR10 to more accurately represent a range of colors that any professional dedicated to editing audiovisual content will n
