Apple TV is the movies and series platform from the apple company, and it has had very good reviews in recent months, due not only to its lack of advertising, or its very competitive price, but to the quantity of quality programs it offers us.
That is why many fans of certain types of series expect a new season of your favorite, so Apple is not going to make you wait any longer, and 3 of them appear very soon in the platform's catalog. Today we are going to see what they are and what they are about, in case you don't know them.
New seasons on Apple TV for 2026
Apple TV+ is already warming up for the coming months and has confirmed the return of three series that were very popular when they premiered. They are not new releases as such, but rather new seasons of stories that already have their audience and that had been without clear news for some time. If you are one of those who have Apple TV+ but sometimes feel that content is missing, this looks pretty good.
- Shrinking – Season 3: Shrinking returns with a third season and does so relatively soon. The series mixes comedy and drama quite closely, telling the story of a therapist who, tired of following the rules, begins to tell his patients exactly what he thinks. That, as you imagine, generates uncomfortable, fun and also quite emotional situations. In this new season they will continue to delve deeper into the characters and their personal problems, which is exactly what made many people hooked from the beginning.
- Hijack – Season 2: After the success of the first season, Hijack returns with a different story but maintaining the same tension. In the first everything happened inside a hijacked plane in real time, and now the action moves to an urban environment, specifically the Berlin subway. Idris Elba returns as the protagonist and the series will continue to rely on that constant pace that doesn't let you breathe, with quick decisions and extreme situations in almost every episode.
- Tehran – Season 3: Tehran had been missing for quite some time, which had raised questions about its future. It has finally been confirmed that the third season is on the way. This espionage series is more serious and dense than the previous ones, with a story focused on political conflicts, covert missions and characters who are never completely safe. In addition, it has already been dropped that there will be a fourth season, which indicates that Apple continues to trust it in the long term.
In summary, these returns show that Apple TV+ wants to reinforce its catalog with series that already work, instead of betting only on new releases. They are quite different proposals from each other, so there is a little of everything: humor with an emotional background, pure tension and more serious espionage. If you had forgotten the platform a little, the next few months may be a good time to return.
