Production will be carried out in a Foxconn factory located in Hyderabadand all manufactured units will be used for export, so it will not be something beneficial for the country itself, in terms of their sale price, although it will give enough jobs.

This initiative is part of Apple's strategy to diversify its supply chain and reduce its dependence on China. In recent years, the company has increased the manufacture of products in countries such as India and Vietnam, including certain iPhone and Mac models.
Now it is the turn of the Airpods, being India again the chosen one, since, the labor and costs such as the electricity or the land of the factory, are much cheaper than in other countries, and despite having to subsequently export the products, it is cheaper than doing so in the United States itself, or Europe, for example.
Although Apple is expanding its production in other countries, it still depends largely on China and Taiwan for the manufacture of its devices, something that, currently, is not good, due to the commercial war between the first two world powers, which makes them diversifying these places.
The benefit for users, as we said, will be related to the price, because if Apple costs less to manufacture something, and has more places for it, they will get a greater stock and production, at a lower costwhat could have an impact on the end user, offering next Airpods at a lower price, or, despite being maintained, that they have better components and quality.
