Although we still don't have iOS 26 officiallythere are several betas that intend to teach us a little more than we will finally see in September, when it goes for everyone, and among which we have a novelty in the very interesting photo app.
And there are already many ways of being able to find certain types of images or videos, from searching for a keyword, the face of a person, or even on the map or by city, which is very interesting, but that Apple believes insufficient, and improves with this function.
Group for concerts, the new photo function
The APP photos now automatically identifies events such as concerts and sports games within your gallery. Group your photos in an event through a ticket selector (“Ticket”) instead of the usual information button, so you can remember that event without having to make a personalized album, or look for those photos by date and place. All more comfortable and fast.
When opening an event, photos shows details such as the set of concerts, marker of matches and other metadata. It also includes direct accesses to Apple Music for concerts and, in some cases, to related future events. All this in a beta phase within iOS 26, so it could improve and even add more functions over the coming weeks.
The tool, for now, only works well in great repercussion events, those of minor categories often do not recognize, although this could improve with the passage of the betas.
In this version we will also see a New eyelashes (Library, Collections and Search) instead of the unique view of iOS 18, which has not been very well accepted by the community, as well as new customization options in Collections with different miniature sizes and a more intuitive design.
They are small changes that, although Apple does not show them to us in their presentations or with press releases, they are appreciated, and make iOS the system it is, since they may seem simple things, but they give you that comfort and simplicity that all users of this brand seek.
In summary, this demonstrates how Apple continues to polish every corner of its operating system, even in sections as everyday as the image gallery. It is not just about offering New functionsbut to make interaction with our memories easier and more natural. Each adjustment, however small, has a direct impact on the user experience. This attention to detail is what differentiates iOS, and although many times it goes unnoticed, it ends up making a difference in day to day. We will see if, with the official launch, they are added even more improvements that reinforce this idea of a useful and human system.
And you, do you think it is something you will use, or a simple improvement that will not contribute anything really interesting? Leave your comment about the opinion of this tool.
