We’re just a few days away from the highly anticipated WWDC 2025 keynote. The event, organized by Apple, will showcase all the latest in the company’s software innovations. WWDC25 will take place next Monday, June 9, at Apple Park and can be followed via streaming.
After announcing the date of WWDC25, Apple began the entire preparation phase that it has been following over the last decades, detailing the event’s schedule and programming, and later moving on to launching the live broadcast system for WWDC 2025.
Additionally, the Californian company recently announced the official slogan for this year’s developer conference and introduced a new hashmoji in X to generate more excitement around its developer event.
What’s on display at WWDC25?
Apple is about to announce all the new features of iOS 26, the software update that was initially and theoretically going to be called iOS 19. Apparently, the Californian firm wants to bring greater cohesion and uniformity to its product ecosystem, starting by using a nomenclature inspired by the year 2026, according to rumors.
So, in addition to iOS 26 , at WWDC25 the Cupertino firm will also present iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 26, watchOS 26 and visionOS 26 . Whatever the final nomenclature, many of the software novelties will be based on a major redesign of the user interface, introducing elements and details of visionOS in the rest of Apple’s operating systems, which include windows with more rounded corners, translucent menus, more oval buttons, and slightly more circular app icons.
New X hashmoji
The social network now displays a small icon in the shape of Apple’s bitten apple logo, colored in different shades.
Apple always tends to drop a few hints about what’s new in its software updates in these kinds of details. The Apple logo on the X hashmoji has a certain touch related to the iOS 26 design, with Apple’s iconic rainbow colors and a “glass effect” from VisionOS that has been widely rumored these days.
WWDC 2025 will be held on June 9th at 7:00 PM Spanish time (6:00 PM in the Canary Islands), and iPadízate will be providing extensive coverage of the event so you don’t miss a single detail. We look forward to seeing you!
