Apple CEO Tim Cook hosted King Charles III on a special visit to Apple’s UK headquarters in historic Battersea Power Station. Tim Cook, currently in London to promote massive new investment in the country, invited the king to tour offices and meet students from local education programs supported by Apple.

As has reported the most valuable company on the stock market, King Charles III was warmly welcomed by Apple employees from across the UK. Students from St. George Primary School were also invited to take part in a creative holiday project. Using iPads, they designed festive artwork, which was then projected onto the building itself as a spectacle.

Tim Cook said:

We were honored to welcome His Majesty King Charles to Apple Battersea, our UK home, and we are proud to support the King’s Trust in their vital work educating and empowering young people. We look forward to continuing our growth here, building on over 40 years of history in the UK.

To commemorate the visit, Tim Cook presented King Charles III with a personalized metal plaque marking the occasion. The event concluded with a live performance by RAYE, an award-winning British musician.

Supporting student innovation

Apple has also partnered with The King’s Trusta UK-based non-profit organization, to provide educational opportunities in coding and digital skills. During the event, students presented their projects to Tim Cook and King Charles III, highlighting the impact of Apple’s educational programs. Enough, in return, to create vocations and potential future Apple developers.

Earlier this month, Apple also collaborated with popular animation studio Aardman to produce a stop-motion animation featuring Wallace and Gromit, filmed using the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This animation was also projected onto the chimneys of Battersea Power Station, celebrating creativity and technology, while also spotlighting Apple’s UK headquarters.
