Although Apple has shown us many News about CarplayI had not mentioned one that, at least to me, personally, it seems to me one of the best we could have in our vehicles, and with iOS 26, we will have the option of transmitting video from the iPhone to the player itself.
This is something that has already been seen time with external apps and developers, but that, for security, Apple has quickly eliminated, so we had nothing official or functional to replicate this function, and now it seems that it will be native to the company itself.

With iOS 26, Apple will finally allow Transmit videos from the iPhone to the carplay system using AirPlay. Reproduction will be allowed only when the vehicle is parked, avoiding distractions at the wheel.
This support will reach both Carplay standard and Carplay Ultra, although manufacturers will have to enable it from the vehicle, so their availability will depend on the brand and the model, being able to be before that in each other.
This also depends on the regulation of each country, so it could be that a place decided that it is not a good tool, and it was accepted its use, although, as we said, we can only use it while the car is stopped, which should not imply a big security problem.

- Tapbacks and conversations set in messages: You can react with emojis to messages and set important conversations to access rapidly.
- Compact call notifications: When you receive a call, you will no longer occupy the entire screen, avoiding interrupting navigation or what you are doing.
- Smart Display Zoom: Automatically adapt the carplay interface to the size and format of the car screen, to take better advantage of the space.
- Greater panel customization: You can reorganize the elements and widgets on the main screen to fit your preferences.
So nothing is now a matter of waiting for iOS 26 to come out, and the brands, models and countries enable everything, although it seems that it will soon arrive, and there should be no problems in its implementation, so we will see it soon.
