For this reason, today we tell you how you can change your apple id to any other email what you wish. Yes, it is possible, although it has not always been so. Fortunately, Apple has understood that it is a necessary function, and offers us several ways to achieve it.
The process is quite simple, and even allows you to go from a third-party email to an Apple domain (@icloud.com or @me.com). Secondly, you can follow the steps from different devices. We share the procedure with you.
How to change your Apple ID email
As we mentioned before, There are two ways to follow this process.. The first is from an Apple-owned device, such as an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. The second way is through the company’s official website.
From your iPhone, iPad or iPod
- Open the menu of Settings of your device.
- Tap on your name, right at the top of the screen.
- you will see an option Name, phone numbers, email. Tap on it.
- In section Available intap on the button Edit.
- Choose Add email or phone. Afterwards, choose Add an email.
- Enter your new Apple ID and tap Following.
- Complete the process. When you’re ready, you can delete your old email by tapping the red button next to the address.
- Lastly, touch To accept and you will be done.
From the browser
- Sign in to the official Apple website.
- Once inside, you will see the option to AppleIDtap on it.
- In the box, type the new email that you want to associate with your account.
- After this, tap on Change Apple ID.
- A confirmation will arrive in your email. Accept and follow the last steps to finalize the change.
