After all, it looks like we’re getting a new third-generation Apple Watch Ultra this year. At least, that’s what the latest rumors suggest. Jeff Pu of GF Securities Hong Kong has teased ( via MacRumors ) that there will be an Apple Watch Ultra 3 this year, following all the recent rumors.
The GF Securities analyst expects both the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 to arrive this year, likely in mid-September, a month in which the company typically unveils its new handsets year after year.
Finally, it’s been a long wait, but the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is coming this year.
Consumers who were planning to upgrade their Apple Watch Ultra are in luck. It looks like they’ll be able to do so this year. After two years, the launch of the third generation is imminent.
Last year, Apple didn’t release a new Apple Watch Ultra. The company with the bitten apple logo simply introduced a new Titanium Black color for the second generation. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 was unveiled on September 12, 2023.
Jeff Pu’s information coincides perfectly with other rumors shared by other industry outlets, which also indicate that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will hit the market this year. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will incorporate satellite connectivity and support for 5G connections .

There’s little more to add about the Apple Watch Ultra 3 for now. The Ultra range is Apple’s most durable smartwatch line and is specifically designed for professional athletes and extreme sports enthusiasts.
It’s shaping up to be a very interesting end of the year for the Californian firm led by Tim Cook. Not only will we have a refreshing and revolutionary new iPhone 17 Air, but we’ll also witness the launch of a smart display dubbed “HomePad” by the media and many other products, although the AirPods Pro 3 are believed to be delayed until 2026.
