Surprise, Apple is joining forces with a competitor in the streaming sector. Starting at the end of the month, Prime Video subscribers will be able to subscribe to Apple TV+, directly from the Amazon application. If we do not have all the details of the agreement, particularly financial, Apple obviously thinks it can reach a larger number of subscribers by offering TV+ as an additional subscription to Prime Video subscribers. She also admits to being behind the e-commerce giant.
Amazon Prime Video welcomes Apple TV+

For its part, Amazon highlights the fact that you will only have one billing to manage, in the same application. This reminds us of the agreement with Canal+, except that the encrypted channel “offers” it to its subscribers.

Prime members who subscribe to Apple TV+ via Prime Video will therefore have access to premium entertainment such as Severance, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Presumed Innocent, Shrinking, Hijack, Loot, Palm Royale, as well as international hit films such as Wolfs, The Instigators and many more, as well as Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball sporting events.
Why subscribe through Amazon?
If this partnership does not expand the distribution of Apple TV+, the service being available wherever Amazon Prime Video is offered, it will help some customers to easily discover and access its catalog. Some people don’t know that it is not necessary to have Apple hardware to enjoy the company’s original series, documentaries and films. In fact, Apple TV+ is available through the Apple TV app on almost all modern smart TVs, set-top boxes and USB sticks, gaming consoles and on the web.

The price
Apple TV+ via Prime Video will cost the same price, i.e. €9.99 per month. All this in addition to Amazon Prime and the “Video” option. The Americans will be the first served, the rest of the world will follow a little later.
