Apple is reportedly about to launch an automatic summary of reviews on the App Store. The AI takes all the opinions on an application, it keeps the two or three most commented information and it creates a summary which is placed at the top of the poster on the presentation sheet of the application on the App Store. A superb idea although we can already imagine the complaints from certain developers.

App Store: a summary of popular reviews for each app in preparation

With the arrival of Apple Intelligence, Apple seems to want to summarize everything. Notifications, emails or even messages, the main information is now always highlighted. Given the information obtained today, the brand does not intend to stop there.

A good idea

As indicated by our colleagues from 9TB5MacApple is expected to soon launch a new feature intended to sort reviews on the App Store. Thanks to the power of AI, each application would be entitled to a small box which generally summarizes user opinions on an application.

We are talking here about a short text which summarizes the most popular opinions to have all the essential information at a glance. Example, if many people say that the app is great in one part while others criticize another part, the summary will mix these two pieces of information and display them in front of us.

A considerable time saver compared to the current method which consists of reading reviews one by one and which encourages the user in a hurry to judge an application on the first two comments, which is not necessarily representative of it.

The summary would be placed directly on the application form. Probably just above the reviews. A sufficient number of reviews will obviously be necessary for the automatic creation of the famous summary. As is often the case, it is a safe bet that this functionality will initially be reserved for the US App Store. It will arrive with us a few months later, hoping that it is really active on the majority of apps.

If you had to summarize your opinion on the iSoft application, what would you say?
