Apple has a range of services, including the Fitness+ subscription which offers programs for physical exercise. And at the start of the year, the firm is announcing a series of new features for this subscription, which will be perfect for those who have just announced their good resolutions.

Apple offers new programs on Fitness+

Among the new features of Apple Fitness+, there is a new muscle strengthening program which, according to the Cupertino company, “guides users through the process of building and maintaining muscle mass, with an emphasis on efficiency.”

Apple Fitness+ also offers a new program “Strength, endurance and agility for pickleball”, led by professional player Catherine Parenteau. The subscription also offers a new Yoga program called “Advanced Yoga Postures”, as well as an introduction to breath-based meditation. In addition to this, Apple offers new content created in collaboration with music and dance stars.

This new content will be available from January 6.

Apple Fitness+ announces new integration with Strava

Apple also just announced a new Apple Fitness+ integration with Strava. “With enhanced integration, when Fitness+ members share a workout with the Strava app, they now have access to detailed information – including episode image, episode number, music genre, the name of the coach and the data collected – which allows them to follow their sporting journey and share it with their community on Strava”indicates the Cupertino company.

And that’s not all, since Apple is also offering three months of free Apple Fitness+ subscription to Strava users.

It seems that Apple has decided to start the year by boosting its services. Indeed, the firm will also offer for free its Apple TV+ streaming service on January 4 and 5, in order to give Internet users the opportunity to test this service that competes with Netflix.
